Unit 3

Unit 3 focuses on spoken language, as it is used for learning in a variety of subject areas. Through video clips and transcripts of real interactions and associated interactive tasks, users examine how oral discourse features such as turn-taking, speech roles and use of technical language operate in different classroom configurations (whole class, small group, pairs) and at different stages of a learning/teaching cycle.
